Hi! My name is Jacynda and I was born in Manhattan, raised in upstate NY. Growing up I was a full-time, all-star athlete between various sports and dance styles. I’m now a college graduate with a Bachelors in Psychology from the State University of New York at SUNY Purchase. I completed a rigorous, researched-focused curriculum that provided me with a rich educational background in human behavior and cognition.
I began working with children when I was a Sophomore in high school at a Daycare and it is still to this day the most rewarding job I’ve had thus far! While working with kids, I take the time to listen, connect, and understand their learning styles. I aim to facilitate an environment of creativity, a love of learning, and an open mind to challenges. It’s best to inspire a growth mindset as early as possible! I’m patient, open-minded, organized, a huge motivator, and a fast learner. I’m happy to help your family keep an organized schedule by cleaning, cooking, tutoring, driving the kids to and from school, and simply being a friend.
