I currently work as a night RN on postpartum so I have experience with newborns and assisting families in their new addition. As a postpartum RN I am in the delivery room and help the babies transition to life on the outside, the first breastfeed, and continuing care through the hospital stay. I have worked nights as a nurse for over three years and have loved taking care of people while also allowing my patients to rest. I also used to work at an after school care in college with the ages of 5-13. This meant setting up for fun activities, assisting with homework, and helping kids regulate feelings. I would often stay for late nights while the parents enjoyed date nights and work events. When I was working there I babysat for multiple families that also had younger kids as well. I began watching children at 11 (I know seems so young nowadays). I have watched kids from ages newborn- 11.
