Hi! My name is Brittany. I'm a very nurturing person and I believe in treating the children I work with as if they were my own. I have been taking care of children all my life. Me and my sister are 12 years apart so when she was born I was already becoming a teenager and helping my parents raise her has been one of my greatest accomplishments. After she got too old for me to change her diapers I missed it so much that I went on to get a job at kiddie academy childcare.
I worked with children of all ages. I started with a class of up to 12 children ages 3 & 4 years old with another teacher. We started the day with breakfast then circle time which consisted of learning the days of the week, learning their colors and numbers etc. I took the children outside on the playground and got them ready for lunch and naps. After about a year I wanted to work with the younger children. I had my own classroom with up to 6 Children (ages 3 mos.-1 year) where I did all the diaper changing, feeding, naps, physical play,etc. I also worked the afterschool program which children ages 4-12 years.
