Sitter / Nanny

I have been babysitting for five years. I have babysat children from the ages of 8 months old to 5 years old. When babysitting I like to do activities with the children such as painting, drawing, reading and dancing. I have babysat children who only speak Spanish and children who only speak English. I am fluent in both languages and can write and read it as well. I have cared for a child who has Down Syndrome. Although I have not taken any courses to care for children with special needs, I am extremely patient and a quick learner and so I adjust to the child’s needs very quickly. Please note my hourly is for single child care. An extra $5/hr per additional child will be added.

Sitter / Nanny

I am a newborn and early adolescence care specialist with a passion for the early developmental process. With my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication I am versed in langue development across life span and diverse spectrums. There is no textbook to describe each unique situation and my care approach reflects such. I create space for parents to release, relax and unwind while their child is in my care. Knowing that being a parent is a tough job I will act as an informative resource to support them and their child(ren). I have extensive experience with preemies, umbilical cord care, lactation support, bowel regulation, sleep training, feeding issues and special needs.

Chloe T.

Sitter / Nanny

Chloe graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Stud and enjoys bringing her love of theatre and play when working with children. She is a child at heart and loves to bring out the best in everyone she interacts with. Chloe has experience taking care of children from 6 months and up. Most of her experience has been with toddlers and young children. Chloe loves to incorporate drawing, crafts, and if they have musical instruments as well (she knows how to play jazz piano). She is also happy to spend time outside playing sports or exploring nature if the child is interested in that. Chloe used to teach theater at the YMCA, where she taught 2-3 classes with up to 16 children in a class. She would teach the children various improv games that forced them to use their imaginations to explore new worlds and possibilities. One particular game was Shabbat Players – a show put on for the rest of the groups, where the children wrote the sketches with Chloe’s help. Additional activities Chloe is well versed in: dance (she has taught ballet and contemporary), arts & crafts, music (guitar, flute, jazz piano) Remote Learning: Chloe is also happy to help with homework and remote learning for elementary level children. Special Needs: Chloe has babysat a 6 year old with autism, and is comfortable with adjusting to the child’s needs. She is happy to help with light housekeeping and meal prep for children, as well.

Elisabeth B.

Sitter / Nanny

Elisabeth (Lizzy) has been babysitting for nearly 10 years (children of all ages). She is creative, caring, and organized. Lizzy loves working with kids because she herself wants to be a mom one day and believes that if you just listen to children, they can teach you so much. Tutoring: Lizzy is comfortable helping all elementary level schoolwork. A personal favorite thing of hers to work on with kids is reading comprehension, as she believes it is vital in all career paths. Activities she loves to do with children are arts and crafts, reading, outdoor sports, but will really tailor activities to whatever the kids are passionate about. Special needs: Lizzy worked as a special education aide at a middle school. Lizzy is happy to help with light housekeeping if the children are napping and she’s more than happy to make meals.

Hi! My name is Lilia. I am the oldest daughter of five children. I have worked as an overnight nanny, and as a summer camp counselor. I attend school at the Fashion Institute of Technology and take my academics very seriously. Through this, I provide steady leadership for children to look upon. As a babysitter I love reading books, supporting arts and crafts projects, imaginary play, building with blocks or legos, puzzles and board games, or singing along and dancing to children's music! I am CPR certified, so you can count on me to keep your child safe.

Sitter / Nanny

There has not been a child that hasn't taken well to me regardless of attachment style or parent(s) that haven't invited me back as a repeat caregiver. I am currently supplementing my childcare experience with studying for both my CDA and Associates in Early Childhood Education. I am always excited to be a part of anyone's village, as support is very important so I am taking my professionalism and knowledge to another level to be at my best. I have experience with assisting first time parents, being a mom's helper, nursing sick children, and basic childcare. I am certified in Pediatric First Aid/CPR AED, mandated reporting, preventing SIDS and promoting safe sleeping.
