Rosalyn B.

Sitter / Nanny

Hello! My name is Rosalyn. I have six plus years of early childhood experience (pre-k and second grade). I have a Master's in Early Childhood Education, which I obtained from CUNY Hunter College. Before working professionally in childcare, I worked for various families in the Astoria and Long Island City area, caring for children whose ages ranged from 3 months old to 12 years of age. Currently, I am home with my own little one, who just turned 10 months old. Becoming a parent myself has given me an entirely new perspective on caring for children and a newfound respect for parents. I am looking to get back into the field of childcare, and am hoping to find part-time, flexible positions that suit my own family and yours! During my time as a preschool teacher, I gained experience working with children with varying abilities, talents and needs! As the head teacher, I worked on teams with my students related resources (Speech language pathologists, physical and occupational therapists) updating each other and working together to create the best possible outcomes for each child.
