Amantha C.
Sitter / Nanny
Hi! My name is Amantha, and I have over 3 years of experience caring for children of different ages. I genuinely love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for them to grow and be themselves. I’m naturally patient, kind, and attentive, and I enjoy engaging children with creative activities, reading, and meaningful conversations. I’m also very reliable and respectful of family routines and rules. To me, every child deserves to feel valued and cared for like family, and that’s exactly how I approach my role as a sitter or nanny. 💖

Sitter / Nanny
I love to listen to kids instead of instructing them what to do. Kids have minds of their own and in order to guide one must understand who they are. I enjoy being gentle with kids and fostering a loving and respectful environment for their parents to get along with their kids well. Being a mother, I feel the importance to help the parents understand their kids better. Being helpful with the mother is always a must as well.

Sitter / Nanny
Hi! My name is Elliot Allen, and I am an experienced and reliable babysitter with a strong background in tutoring and childcare. I have always enjoyed working with kids and pride myself on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for them. With my tutoring experience, I love helping children with their homework, fostering curiosity, and encouraging learning through play. Beyond academics, I believe in building strong connections with kids by engaging in activities they enjoy—whether it’s playing sports, doing crafts, or exploring new hobbies. My organizational skills and problem-solving abilities ensure that I can manage routines, handle unexpected challenges, and provide parents with peace of mind. I would love the opportunity to support your family and be a positive influence in your child’s life. Looking forward to connecting!

Sitter / Nanny
Hi there! I am an energetic and hardworking recent graduate with 5 years of experience of increasing responsibility in childcare. I am able to respond efficiently and creatively to difficult situations and am highly adept at planning and supervising children while constructing a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Here is a bit of background about me: I recently moved to NYC! In addition to having an impressive record of parent and child satisfaction, I am also highly proficient in structuring playtime and lessons to fit the needs of children under my supervision. I can efficiently cook for and feed children, actively engage children in exciting activities ( i.e. park visits, Lego building tournaments, dancing games), and perform light housekeeping if needed. Professionally, I have worked as a middle school math tutor, mentor, and school social work intern. I've also worked as a camp counselor at Sidwell Summer and was responsible for creating and supervising daily activities, engaging campers, managing behavior, and maintaining a welcoming an exciting atmosphere.

Sitter / Nanny · Night Nanny
Hello and Welcome! My name is Lois, and I'm a graduate from Central Michigan University where I got a BFA in Music Theatre, and a BAA in Communication. Since I've begun my experience with babysitting I've had the pleasure of spending time caring for children ages newborn -13 years old anytime throughout the day and night. I also began teaching tumbling/gymnastics to children at my former dance studio back at home, and currently teach infant/childrens gymnastics in NYC. I look forward to getting to know you and your family! 🙂

Sitter / Nanny
Hi, I'm Savannah and I'm happy to have you here! I am a patient, intentional, RIE-practicing nanny who listens attentively to the children I'm working with. I love to have fun outside and watch them explore the world around them. I have worked with kids since I was young - I co-parented my two younger siblings, who are 10 years younger than me and ever since I got my first job at 14, I have worked with children ages 0-18 in all kinds of settings. I’ve counseled summer camps, coached gymnastics, led backpacking trips for children with learning differences, and cared for children of many different backgrounds, ages 0-18. I love music, art, laughing, reading, and otherwise inspiring creativity within the children I'm caregiving! In 2020, I moved from GA to VT and nannied for a family of 4 children in Vermont, ages 4, 11, 13, and 15. This was a seasonal, short-term position and I still keep in touch with the family regularly! In 2021, I moved to Asheville, NC and nannied for a family with 1 child (age 1) in the mornings and a family with 1 child (age 6) in the evenings, giving me a full-time schedule for the year. The 1-y-o’s family moved out of NC and are now enjoying their lives on an off-grid farm, furthering their massage therapy business. Around the same time, the 6-y-o’s needs changed when his mother decided to adjust her work schedule so as to take on full responsibility for her child and their home. In 2022, I nannied and house-managed FT for a family of 4 children, ages 4, 7, 9, and 11. Their needs changed when they realized what they needed was an in-home therapist for their 9-y-o son when he was diagnosed with autism. For all of 2023, I was with an amazing family in Asheville, NC, caring for 2 children, ages 5 and 7. Along with nannying, I also provided house-management and home-school assistance. The children are now starting day school in-person and no longer need a FT nanny/house-manager. As of 2024, I have made the decision to move up to NYC to be closer to loved ones and continue my career as a nanny and house manager, taking with me all of my professional experiences I have from North Carolina, Vermont, and Georgia. I have had wonderful experiences w/ the families I have worked with and now I am looking to find a new family in NYC to work with long-term and create another wonderful experience!
