Kimberley P.
Night Nanny
Experienced Newborn Care Specialist & Sleep Trainer. Hello, my name is Kimberley Patterson, and for the past 18 years, I have had the privilege of guiding families through the beautiful and transformative journey of welcoming a newborn. My philosophy is simple yet profound: a calm, structured, and nurturing environment sets the foundation for a baby’s well-being and a mother’s confidence. Every family is unique, and my goal is to provide individualized support that meets their specific needs, ensuring both baby and parents thrive in these early moments of life. Extensive Expertise & Specialized Care As a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Sleep Trainer through the Infant Care Training Academy, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to help families navigate newborn care with confidence. I specialize in safe sleep practices, swaddling, tummy time facilitation, and soothing techniques for colic, reflux, and tongue-tie challenges. My experience caring for preemies, twins, and newborns recovering from a bris procedure has deepened my ability to provide tailored support in diverse family settings, including Jewish households where honoring cultural traditions is essential. Holistic Support for Baby & Mother Beyond hands-on baby care, I offer a full spectrum of household support to ease the transition into parenthood. I organize nurseries, wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts, manage baby laundry, assist with breastfeeding, and facilitate night feeds to ensure both baby and parents receive the rest they need. With extensive experience in newborn care, I provide gentle overnight support, helping families navigate nighttime feedings, sleep routines, and soothing techniques with confidence and ease. My approach is rooted in patience, knowledge, and genuine care helping new mothers build confidence while fostering a loving and peaceful home environment. The Power of Gentle Touch & Postpartum Wellness I believe in the soothing and healing power of touch. Through specialized baby massage techniques, I help infants relax, sleep better, and find comfort as they adjust to the world around them. Recognizing the unique challenges of postpartum recovery, I also support new mothers experiencing blocked milk ducts and excessive milk production. With gentle guidance and effective techniques, I help moms manage discomfort, encourage healthy milk flow, and find balance in their breastfeeding journey, ensuring both mother and baby can thrive with ease. Commitment to Safety & Professional Excellence Ensuring the safety and well-being of newborns and families is at the heart of my work. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified for infants, children, and adults through the American Red Cross, providing parents with the peace of mind that their little one is in capable and trained hands. Whether responding to emergencies or implementing everyday best practices, I remain dedicated to creating a secure and supportive environment for both baby and parents. A Commitment to Families Newborn care is more than a profession for me it’s a calling. I’ve seen exhausted parents transform into confident caregivers, and I consider it an honor to be a part of that journey. Whether supporting a mother through her baby’s first bath or helping her feel empowered in her new role, my mission is to create a safe, loving, and supportive space for both mom and baby to flourish. I look forward to bringing my expertise, warmth, and dedication into the homes of families seeking compassionate, knowledgeable care.
