Kathleen is a Childcare provider with over 20 years of experience, caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged children. She has worked in a variety of positions with children throughout the years. She started as a Sitter, and has been working professionally, since 2004, in roles such as: Preschool Assistant Teacher, Sitter, and Nanny. She has an extensive education in Child Development, and holds a certificate in Child Development Early Childhood Education, with a specialization in Early Literacy. Kathleen is also a Singer-songwriter, plays guitar, and as a writer enjoys the art of writing poetry. She enjoys incorporating the art of storytelling and reading with kiddos, and facilitating their learning through creative activities that spark their imagination, such as arts & crafts. She believes in using a creative approach with children, meeting each child where he/she is, on their level, and fostering each child's sense of well-being to meet their individual, unique needs. Creating an inclusive environment of respect, where children feel supported, safe, and can thrive, is integral in her role as a Childcare provider.
