Kayla H.
Night Nanny
As a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), I specialize in providing overnight care and support to families during the postpartum period. My role is centered on helping newborns adjust to life outside the womb while ensuring that parents get the rest they need to recover and thrive during those early, often overwhelming weeks.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of supporting numerous families during this delicate and beautiful season of life. My work is rooted in compassion, expertise, and a deep understanding of infant development and family dynamics.
My primary responsibility as an NCS is to care for the baby throughout the night so that parents can sleep peacefully. I handle all aspects of nighttime care, including:
• Diaper changes, feedings (bottle or bringing baby to mom for nursing), burping, and soothing
• Monitoring baby’s sleep patterns and adjusting techniques based on developmental milestones
• Using gentle, age-appropriate methods to support healthy sleep habits
• Keeping detailed overnight logs to help parents track feeds, sleep, and behavior
Whether it’s a first-time parent or a family welcoming their second or third child, I tailor my support to meet their unique needs and preferences.
