I’m Kimisha , a Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) with over 15 years of experience caring for babies and supporting families. I was born in Jamaica, where my love for children began early. As the 3rd oldest sibling, I helped care for my two younger siblings from birth, and nurturing others has always come naturally to me.
I’m a proud aunt and grand-aunt (kim-momty) to over 20 nieces and nephews, including a set of twin. The youngest are currently between the age of 6 months old to 3years old, so i stay very connected to the day to day needs of newborns and young children. I’ve played an active role in their lives from the first hours in the hospital through infancy, toddlerhood, and even the teenage years. This has given me a deep, well-rounded understanding of children at every stage of development.
In addition to my professional background, I am also a mom to a medically complex 6-year-old, which has greatly expanded my skills, confidence, and attention to detail. I am experienced with G-tube feeding, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, oxygen use, and premature infant care. His care does not affect my availability, as he is supported by 24/7 nursing care, allowing me to be fully present and focused with the families I work with.
Professionally, I’ve worked in daycare settings and long-term private homes, providing loving, attentive newborn and infant care. My experience includes feeding support (breastmilk and formula), bottle and pump sterilization, diapering, soothing techniques, sleep routines, managing wake windows, and creating a calm, safe environment so parents can rest and feel supported.
Families often describe me as warm, patient, dependable, and nurturing, with a calm presence during those tender newborn days. I am a driver, flexible, respectful of family preferences, and I care for every child as if they were my own.

Availability & Rates
• Live-in care: $560/day (weekends only)
• Open to overnight/night care
