I have taken care of children from newborn and up and was able to provide the proper care to their special needs, feeding, bathing, diapering, umbilical cord care. Making sure their feeding schedule is on time and they get the proper nutrition, napping, and bedtime routine. I am willing to answer all parents questions. I am French, and have been a caregiver most of my life I took care of Marisa starting when she was 20 months old I left 10 years later the reason is she and her parents moved away I am still in contact with her she is now in her 40s. A few years later I took care of wonderful twins from the age of 4 weeks old until the age of 8 years olds then they moved with their parents to Aboudabi. Afterward, I looked after their best friend for about a year and a half then COVID happened and her parents decided that being 12 years old she didn't need a Nanny. So after this I took care of very sweet baby girl from the age of 6 months until her parents moved to Washington. Now I am free to help out with a new family. I love to cook. I could also could do light housekeeping I am vaccinated against COVID and the flu. Alas I do not drive but I never smoked. I am originally from Cannes a city on the French Riviera. I would love to teach french to any children who are interested. I love to take children to museums, park, spectacles, movies or any activity they enjoy I love to read and share my love of books to children I also love to either read to them or tell stories I also love to play any type of games including board games (I really don't mind losing) I try to make every day fun for them. So please give me the joy to look after your children I myself raised 3 wonderful children who are now young adults.

I have over 20 years of amazing experience caring for children, bringing joy and happiness to every child I’ve cared for, and becoming a part of their precious lives. I have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to children and supporting parents in their exciting journey. I love hearing the sound of little feet running towards me in the morning as I walk into the house, because they know that we are going to have fun! For first-time parents, I am very experienced in all aspects of infant care, bottle feeding, weaning and preparing nutritional meals. I’m also experienced in supporting mothers with lactation and postpartum care. I have a knack for knowing when babies are in a bad mood or not feeling well! With toddlers and older kids, I enjoy reading with them, doing arts and crafts, organizing playdates and playing games. I take pride in building a happy, stimulating environment for the children that I care for, and in building long-lasting relationships with both parents and children alike.

Sitter / Nanny
Hi! I am a certified early childhood educator with over 15 years of experience. I am creative and playful with children, and I love engaging children in activities and learning opportunities that help them grow. Prior to becoming a professional nanny, I was a preschool teacher at Kids Universe in Brooklyn and took care of infants and toddlers. I led activities that promoted the children's sensory, physical and academic growth, and taught them foundation concepts such as shapes, numbers and letters. I also worked with parents and children with specific behavioral and learning issues. As a private nanny, I take care of everything from bottles, diapering and potty training to meal prep, children's laundry, organizing activities, playing with and reading to the children. I am very outgoing and love nature. I am certified in early childhood education. I was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on April 30, 2021.

Sitter / Nanny
Every child is different, and part of what I love about childcare is that I get to help each one discover his/her own strengths and talents and nurture those traits through my educational approach. I attribute my empathetic, interpersonal, positive, and creative personality as a key factor in my ability to connect and build trust with children. I have worked extensively with children with circumstantial and genetic situations/conditions, such as providing care to children in low-income households, children with alopecia, cleft lefts, cleft palates and/or facial deformities. Favorite Activities to do with kids: - Arts & crafts (i.e. create bracelets/necklaces, cut up magazines and newspapers and create a collage, design a t-shirt, etc.) - Outdoor games that promote healthy exercise (i.e. kickball, volleyball, soccer, jump rope, chalk drawing, etc.) - Simple baking (i.e. bake & decorate sugar cookies, make healthy banana ice cream, etc.) - Reading books/creating short-stories and acting them out - Homework assistance (have them play teacher!) - Movie night (i.e. have the kids help me create the ultimate 'move night' experience) Previous Work Experience: - Supervision and guidance to children within daycare and private home settings - Meal planning & preparation - Dropping-off / picking-up children from school - Supervision of playdates and children's parties - Prepared and presented educational sessions to low-income families regarding the importance of dental hygiene - Body-positive advocate - Former class president of Operation Smile I graduated with a degree in Marketing & Psychology from Elon University in 2018 with a 3.7 GPA.

Marsha H.
Sitter / Nanny
Marsha graduated with a BA in Children and youth studies from Brooklyn College and enjoys working with kids because she learns new things from them every day. She cares for the kids she works with as if they're her own. She has a great sense of humor and enjoys incorporating the seasons into fun activities with the kids (e.g. in the fall, she takes kids to go leaf picking and creates art projects with colorful leaves). Marsha has experience taking care of children from as young as 1 year old and older. She also has experience taking care of multiple children at a time, since she was a lead teacher at a daycare for over two years, and before that was an assistant PreK teacher where she was responsible for up to 15 children. In addition to being a daycare teacher, Marsha has been a private nanny for families. Marsha loves to dive deeper into the interests and activities which children are already interested in. So, if your child is interested in architecture and building, she'll make sure to dedicate time to playing with legos or blocks. Marsha is happy to help your children with their remote learning in your home. Cooking: Marsha loves to cook and even has a side business where she cooks seafood boils (this is her specialty). She is of course happy to cook whatever requests your family has. Her eventual goal is to open a nonprofit organization for children in Haiti. Marsha speaks fluent French, English, and Haitian Creole. She is happy to help with light housekeeping, as well. Marsha considers herself a bit of a clean freak in the best way possible. Marsha gets tested for COVID-19 periodically. Her most recent PCR test result on January 3, 2021 was negative.

Shani D.
Sitter / Nanny
Easing going, bubbly and motivated, Shani loves to work with children! She graduated with a BA in Psychology and Health & Human Services from University at Buffalo. All of her internships and professional experiences have been within childcare (she has worked as a preschool teacher, camp counselor and at University of Buffalo’s Early Childhood Research Center). The children at the preschool which she worked at loved her so much, that the parents would consistently ask for private childcare. Shani has over 10 years of experience watching children from 12 months old and older. She started out by babysitting in high school, and then continued working with children and studying psychology and how to bring out the best in each child through her experiences of working as a preschool teacher where she created safe learning environments for children to be able to explore in, through privately babysitting, and through leading groups of young campers. She enjoys babysitting because she enjoys helping a child learn a new task and it is fulfilling to take part in the development of our future. Activities she can do with kids are: swimming lessons, arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, reading, taking them on field trips and more! Shani loves to teach children about healthy eating habits (she did this while volunteering at the YMCA) and is happy to follow your diet of choice when preparing food for the children. Her long-term goal is to be a special education teacher for early childhood.
