As someone who's around children often, I've learned how easily they absorb even the smallest details of everything we do. I understand the importance of being a role model, creating a fun and safe environment that challenges them to further stimulate their minds. While working at SASF I was able to grow tremendously in a short amount of time. I started out as a camp counselor, transitioning large groups of students from classroom to classroom and making sure everyone remained safe. The program is based on kids from K-5. Within a few months, I was offered a higher position as a Dance Specialist, where I created weekly lesson plans and taught all grades various styles of dance to prepare for upcoming performances. I have also been blessed enough to be able to babysit my two wonderful and energetic nephews (age 5, age 3 and another on the way). They have taught me so much throughout the past few years and I continue to learn from them every single day. We enjoy arts and craft sessions, board games, dance parties and building things together. Working at Xtreme Energy was a combinations of two of my favorite things, birthday's and catering to the safety and needs of children. I have a surplus of energy to enjoy and educate any child within my care as well as a calm and soothing personality enough to put a newborn to sleep. Nothing brings me more joy than to be apart of a child's village. I speak both English and Spanish.
